New member in the Scientific Advisory Board

The JPI HDHL welcomes its new member in the Scientific Advisory Board in Research Area 3 “Diet, Health and Disease

– Targeting the mechanisms to promote health and help reduce lifestyle-related diseases”: Professor John Mathers ), Director of the Human Nutrition Research Centre at Newcastle University.

Professor Mathers’ main expertise is in molecular nutrition research, with a focus on studies related to cancer, cardiovascular disease and diabetes, and in public health nutrition research (nutritional epidemiology, nutrition and ageing).

We are happy to have Prof. Mathers on board and are looking forward to working with him! We also want to express our gratitude to the leaving member Prof. Lars Ove-Dragsted, who has been a member since 2015, wishing him the best for the future and hoping we will continue to meet each other.
