Two new members in the Scientific Advisory Board

The JPI HDHL welcomes two new members in the Scientific Advisory Board (SAB):

Two new members in the Scientific Advisory Board

Area 1: Professor Paula Varela-Tomasco from Nofima (Norway) and the Norwegian University of Life Sciences. She is an expert in consumer behavior, methodological aspects of consumer research, and consumer transition to healthier and more sustainable diets.

Area 3: Assistant Professor Karsten Köhler from the Technical University of Munich (Germany). His research focuses on the integration of exercise and nutrition for health and performance, energy balance regulation as well as ingestive behavior and compensatory eating.

We are very happy to have Professor Varela-Tomasco and Assistant Professor Köhler on board and are looking forward to working with them.

We would also like to express our gratitude to the leaving members of the SAB:

Area 1: Professor Molly Byrne from the National University of Ireland, Galway.

Area 3: Professor Jean-Michel Oppert from the University Pierre et Marie Curie – Sorbonne Universités (France).

Their participation and contribution to the SAB have helped the JPI HDHL to provide an important impulse to innovate and bolster the position of research within the Food & Health domain. We wish the leaving members all the best for the future.
