INTIMIC cofunded projects on intestinal microbiome, diet and health are finished!

All projects funded within the HDHL-INTIMIC co-funded call are finished. The call on “Interrelation of the INtesTInal MICrobiome, Diet and Health” was launched in 2017 as the first joint funding action of the ERA-Net Cofund HDHL-INTIMIC. It was co-funded by the European Commission (EC), aiming to fund the most excellent transnational research projects that address the causal relationship of diet, the intestinal microbiome and health.

Eight countries (Austria, France, Germany, Israel, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, and Sweden) and the EC allocated €9,6 million to fund research in the field of the gut microbiome and human health. The budget was allocated to eleven projects. An overview of the projects can be found here. Last year, a final symposium was organised in Vienna, see the news item about the symposium here.

Curious about the project results? In the coming weeks, the results of all projects will be shared on our website. Stay tuned!
