25 November 2022: Open Research Europe webinar

Good news for researchers: new possibility for free open access publication on Open Research Europe!
The Open Access publishing platform ‘Open Research Europe’ was originally established to offer fast publication and open peer review exclusively for research conducted by Horizon Europe and Horizon 2020 beneficiaries. We are very pleased to announce that eligibility to publish on this platform has recently been extended to all research projects that are part of HDHL-INTIMIC and ERA-HDHL!
What ?
Open Research Europe is a high-quality, reliable open research publishing option that allows researchers to publish quickly, at no cost, and in compliance with the Horizon 2020 open access mandate. The platform combines the benefits of pre-printing with the benefits of open peer review, whilst retaining all the essential services to publish, register, certify, disseminate, and preserve content for use and re-use.
Why ?
The Horizon 2020 vision is to drive innovation and economic growth across the EU, benefiting health and well-being across the globe. By giving researchers the option to publish their work open access in multiple formats from standard research articles to data notes, from new insights to confirmatory or negative results, the European Commission aims to remove the barriers to scientific discovery, facilitating progress towards securing Europe’s global competitiveness in innovation.
Who ?
Under the umbrella of JPI HDHL two ERA-Net Cofunds have been established to further strengthen the coordination of national and regional research programmes in the area of diet, food, nutrition and health and to contribute to the implementation of JPI HDHL objectives. ERA-HDHL was the 1st ERA-Net Cofund of JPI HDHL and implemented six transnational funding activities: BioNH Cofund, PEN, Epigenetics, FNS KH, PREVNUT and FoodHypersens. HDHL-INTIMIC was the 2nd ERA-Net Cofund and launched five transnational calls: INTIMIC Cofund, INTIMIC Knowledge Platform, METADIS, PREPHOBES and STAMIFY.
All researchers funded by one of the abovementioned calls qualify for the free of charge publication of their project results on Open Research Europe.
