ILSI Europe e-annual symposium 2020

Next week on October 6th 2020, the e-Annual Symposium “Opening the Science of Food” of ILSI Europe, a member of the JPI HDHL Stakeholder Advisory Board, will be held on a virtual platform from 9:00 to 16.30.

The symposium is a premiere gathering of scientists from around Europe that meet to shed light on nutrition, food safety and sustainability. Current and future challenges that our society is facing will be discussed by several stakeholders to contribute to the possible solutions.

Themes discussed during this year event are:

  • Sustainable Food Systems
  • Proteins in sustainable diet
  • Sweetness and sweeteners
  • Microbiome and Microbiota

The 1-day event offer opportunities to interact with the ILSI community of members, experts and colleagues through the Speed Dating option. There will also be the chance to discover state-of-the-art research from the speakers and Early Career Scientists will present their research via a 3 minutes video which you can join in the e-booths to show them your interest, and acknowledge their work.
