Management Board Meeting HDHL

Last week the Management Board (MB) meeting took place in Bonn (Germany), were almost all countries were represented to discuss JPI HDHL activities and plans for the upcoming year(s). Béatrice Morio chaired the meeting with great enthusiasm.

The MB addressed topics such as:

  • Upcoming webinars
  • Development of JPI HDHL Value Proposition
  • Update on ongoing research calls
  • Moving forward to a new Membership Fee Arrangement (MFA) period
  • Horizon Europe partnerships
  • And many other topics

The full agenda was brightened up by invited talks from a.o. the hosting country Germany on Public Health and Nutrition Research in Germany and Maria Cristina Nieto Garcia was invited to present the ERA4Health partnership. Lastly, Wolfgang Ahrens presented the Policy Evaluation Network (PEN) project followed by an interactive session regarding the questions ‘Should the JPI HDHL fund more policy evaluation and impact assessment oriented research (such as PEN)?’.
