Reflecting on a successful STAMIFY Call end-term meeting
On 4 December 2025, coordinators, partners, and stakeholders joined the online STAMIFY end-term meeting to share key findings and updates from six transnational research projects. Exciting results and tools will be released throughout 2026.
STAMIFY Call
In January 2021, HDHL launched STAMIFY, the 4th additional non-cofunded Joint Funding Action (JFA) implemented in the frame of the ERA-Net Cofund HDHL-INTIMIC. The aim of the STAMIFY Call was to support transnational research projects that develop improved methods and tools to assess and monitor diet and physical activity in order to provide better dietary and physical activity recommendations and guidelines. Ten funding agencies from eight countries participated in this call. The six funded consortia, composed of 30 partners in total from Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Ireland and Spain, received all together 6.5M euro. The research projects started in 2022 and had a runtime of 3 years.
End-term meeting
On December 4th, 2025, the call secretariat organised an online joint projects’ end-term meeting to foster knowledge sharing and collaboration within the interconnected domains of diet, physical activity and health. The meeting brought together around 45 attendees, ranging from project coordinators and partners to representatives from funding agencies, members of the HDHL Scientific and Stakeholder Advisory Board as well as other stakeholders interested in the topic.
The project coordinators took the opportunity to share their key scientific findings, dissemination and communication activities and potential societal and translational impact.
As the projects are now in the final stretch towards completion, many project results including scientific publications and web-based applications and infrastructures are still to be released in 2026.
