Survey now open: Priorities for Food, Health and the Environment in Europe
HDHL Food4Health has launched a short stakeholder survey to help align future research, innovation, policy and implementation priorities at the intersection of food, health and the environment. The survey builds on earlier workshops and is a key step in shaping joint actions within the project.
Why this survey matters
HDHL Food4Health is a Horizon Europe Coordination and Support Action (2025–2028) that connects research, policy and practice to address diet‑related non‑communicable diseases and environmental sustainability challenges. One of the project’s core objectives is to align Research, Innovation, Policy and Implementation (RIPI) priorities across countries and sectors.
To achieve this, the project relies on input from a broad and diverse group of stakeholders. The current survey ensures that the priorities identified so far are robust, well‑balanced and grounded in real‑world expertise.
How the survey works
Earlier this year, HDHL Food4Health organised two stakeholder workshops to identify and prioritise research topics based on impact, readiness for innovation and implementation, and policy relevance. The current survey builds directly on this work.
The questionnaire is structured around the key themes identified during those workshops, allowing respondents to focus on the areas most relevant to their expertise. Therefore, the survey takes approximately 5 - 20 minutes to complete.
How your input will be used
The survey results will be used to clarify and confirm shared priorities for work on food, health and the environment. These priorities will help decide which topics should be supported in future HDHL joint funding activities, collaborative initiatives and policy‑related work.
By taking part, stakeholders help ensure that attention and resources are directed to areas where there is clear need, practical potential and broad support. Your input contributes to better coordination across countries and sectors, and helps make sure future actions are informed by the experiences and views of those working in the field.
Take part and share the survey
The questionnaire is open until 1 June, and all contributions are invaluable. Please also feel free to share the survey within your networks to encourage broad participation.
