All projects funded within the HDHL-INTIMIC cofunded call are finished. The call on “Interrelation of the INtesTInal MICrobiome, Diet and Health” was launched in 2017 as part of HDHL-INTIMIC. It was co-funded by the EC, aiming to fund transnational research projects that address the causal relationship of diet, the intestinal microbiome and health.

Eight countries (Austria, France, Germany, Israel, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, and Sweden) and the EC allocated €9,6 million to fund research in the field of the gut microbiome and human health. The budget was allocated to eleven projects. Last year, a final symposium was organised in Vienna.

Curious about the project results? In the coming weeks, the results of all projects will be shared on our website. Stay tuned!
