Update on the JPI HDHL 2021 call FOOD_HYPERSENS

Last changed:

In February 2021, the JPI HDHL launched FOOD_HYPERSENS, the 6th call organised under the umbrella of ERA-Net ERA-HDHL to promote collaborative international research on nutrition and health.

The FOOD_HYPERSENS call aims to address how food ingredients and food processing methods can induce or prevent the occurrence of food intolerances and allergies. This call for projects was supported by 10 countries and 12 funding organizations.

At the closure of the call (April 8th, 2021) twenty-one proposals were successfully submitted, representing 114 participants for a total requested budget of 20 million Euros. A panel of international experts will be in charge of the evaluation of the different proposals. The applicants will have the possibility to answer the concerns raised by the experts during a rebuttal phase that will take place from the 14th to the 24th of June. An evaluation meeting will be organized in September 2021 and the evaluation outcomes will be communicated to the applicants during the first half of October.
