On the 18th of June JPI HDHL is organising a virtual mid-term symposium for the projects funded in 2 calls focussing on the intestinal microbiome. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the symposium will be held virtually. In this way, the JPI HDHL can still offer project leaders the opportunity to exchange knowledge and facilitate a discussion.
The first physical meeting of the Systemic project was organised on the 28 and 29th of September, 2022 at the Ministry of Agriculture in Rome, Italy.
In 2023, the HDHL Management Board welcomed a new member to its ranks, Laura Hanske, representing Germany on behalf of the Federal Ministry of education and research (BMBF). In an exclusive interview, Dr. Hanske shares insights into her background, the impact of Germany's Food Strategy, and critical research topics in food and nutrition for the future.- Biomarkers for Nutrition and Health (co-funded call) In February 2016, 14 countries launched the first ERA-HDHL Cofunded joint call for funding multilateral research projects on “Biomarkers for nutrition and health”. This Joint Action funded 12 projects that started in the beginning of 2017 for about 3 years.
Over the course of the next few months, FIT4FOOD2030 will host four webinars aiming to advocate for responsible research and innovation (RRI) and system thinking for food system transformation. The four webinars will explore various aspects of RRI and systems thinking at different levels of the food system, while drawing upon the FIT4FOOD2030 project outputs and learnings.
We are pleased launch the new joint funding activity the Knowledge Hub call on ‘Establishing the link between food processing, human health, and sustainable food systems’.
