Today, October 16, is World Food Day. Together, we reflect on the theme: Right to Food for a Better Life and a Better Future- “New food resources and technologies to improve public health and food security” (FOODRETEC) In February 2023, JPI HDHL launched a new joint funding activity “New food resources and technologies to improve public health and food security” (FOODRETEC).
On 2 December, during a week of major European food systems events in Copenhagen, we convened a CLEVERFOOD Policy Roundtable on Healthy and Sustainable Public Food Procurement.
An extensive expert evaluation report of the SYSTEMIC project is developed and includes key achievements. The SYSTEMIC project has contributed significantly to research on food security, sustainable agriculture and effects of climate change, with outcomes including policy recommendations, peer reviewed publications, and dissemination activities.
