As a leading voice in food and health, HDHL takes this World Food Day 2025 to highlight the urgent global issues that define the state of our food systems as we near the end of 2025.
The SYSTEMIC final consortium meeting took place on the 2nd of July 2024 online. A short report of the main findings per work package (WP) was presented as well as some conclusions about the future of the network.- Healthy Diet, Healthy Life (HDHL)’s shared vision, mission, and strategic objectives describe how HDHL contributes to healthier and more sustainable food and health systems by aligning research efforts, mobilising knowledge, and strengthening collaboration across Europe.
On 12 March, the coordinators and several partners of the SYSTEMIC project gathered in Madrid to present the final results of the project. They were joined by members of the three JPIs HDHL, OCEANS and FACCE, funding agency representatives and members of the HDHL Management Board, Scientific Advisory Board and Stakeholder Advisory Board.
In January 2025, the ECN offered its first workshop on "Data Visualisation in R", led by Junior Professor Dr. Philipp Sprengholz from the University of Bamberg (Germany).- ERA-HDHL aimed to provide a robust platform for implementing Joint Funding Activities that address the research challenges that are identified and described in the Strategic Research Agenda and Implementation Plans of Healthy Diet, Healthy Life (HDHL) through improving coordination and reducing the overlap between national and European funding.
Although a face-to-face event was not yet possible, the Joint Programming Initiative ‘A Healthy Diet for a Healthy Life’ was proud to organize its 6th international conference digitally on April 20 and 21 of 2021.
